During our recent trip to Des Moines to visit the newly-built Lauridsen Skatepark, we stumbled upon the Des Lux Hotel located in downtown Des Moines as we searched for a place to stay. After only a brief glance at its listing, we were immediately drawn to its unique charm and luxurious amenities.
